I was in the garden centre a few years ago and said to my little un pick anything that you like, after trying to convince her otherwise which she wasn't having..... she picked this one, but I must admit I wasn't that fond of it to start with but it has flowered well every year, what more could I ask of it...

yes poppys are always reliable ? not everyones choice but some of the newer varieties are really stunning:)

I like Mrs Perry and am fond of poppies in general but for me they're anything but reliable. So many come up blind or just disappear completely. Think you must have different conditions from mine, Warwick.

Sorry to hear that Tuesdaybear, I add a lot of compost when I plant them and give them a feed every month other than that they grow anywhere here..

That's ok don't worry about postage, I may send it sooner as when they finish flowering I normally chop foliage down to ground level so I may as well split it then.

Yellow poppies seem quite popular around the Glasgow area.
That or they seed well. Lol.
