Ice-Cream Shop in Whitstable Kent

How clever! One of these days I'd love to visit Whitstable . . . trouble is, I like oysters, but OH does not!

There's plenty of eateries around in Whitstable Sheila - You are spoilt for choice! It's worth a visit one day :o)))

Thanks Jane. There's a really nice atmosphere in Whitstable with art galleries, museum - There's plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants independantly owned - they take such care with their displays both inside and outside the shops. It's a bit of a trendy town but in an old fashioned way! :o)

must visit it one day. :)

Very clever idea, no fear of frost getting at those flowers!! an area we do not know but have always wanted to live/visit.......

It's well worth a visit dd, and I'm sure you'd like it. I've been to Whitstable today! There is a market on Thursday mornings and I'm very fond of the fruit and veg stall there. It's run by three sisters - and the quality and prices are just so good! So a friend and myself go most Thursday's and have a good wander around the town followed by a coffee in one of the many cafes. It's about a 20 minute drive from Canterbury so not too far for us!
There's plenty of cottages for hire very close to the beach... They look very inviting especially during the heatwave! ;o)

Don't forget the fish market Tracey! So lovely there. You are lucky to live so near. I would come with you every week if I lived a bit nearer.

Thanks TT and Poppy, I haven't been for several weeks now holidays etc., but I'm doing a Wedding at the Lobster Shack on Saturday. It looks a fab venue and is almost on the beach! Not sure on the weather on Saturday though!
