Hydrangea

That's gorgeous, I do love hydrangeas.

Hi Annella, lovely colour, but I think you and I must have a different idea of a bargain!, I would think that was quite expensive, especially from a supermarket, {could be the Scottish blood in me, lol,} Derek.

I though that too Derek, but didn't like to say!lol I suppose people from different parts of the country have different ideas of how much they want to pay for things and what is a bargain.

It's lovely - is the flower as big as it looks in the picture? I thought £12 was reasonable - obviously not the Scottish blood in me ;)

Scottish, I wasn't being insulting or facetious, my Grandmother was Scottish, and I have a lot of relations around Airdrie and Coatbridge area, sorry if it sounded that way, Derek.

Derek, it's so nice to find someone else from Cheshire on here, there don't seem to be many. That's my one disappointment about GoY, I was hoping to find more gardeners local to myself.

The flowers are really big Scottish and so is the plant itself (nearly 2ft). A similar plant in the local garden centres would be between £15-£20 in Northants. Louisa there are not many Goyers near to me either but I have met up with two now, one lady who I see regularly and Louis who's garden I have visited :o))

Derek, I know what you meant, no offence taken. I too was poking fun at the Scots, we are known for being rather tight. I'm not the norm, that's why I'm always skint :)
Thanks Annella, I thought they looked big. The bigger the better with Hydrangeas I think.
