Aloe aristata - flowering

Reach for the stars!It's quite comical how far away from each other are the flower and the leaves.

It does have an amazingly long stem. I almost missed the flowers on our one because it was sitting on the kitchen window sill above the sink. I have an orange venetian blind on that window and it was pure chance that I 1. saw it and 2. did not knock the flower head off extricating it from the blind. I'm glad you pointed out these photos to be me Hywel. Thank you. I can obviously look forward to more flowers on each stem as it gets older.
