this is the first pic I've been able to take of a rose that was in focus!

yes, i have two rose shrubs, both rather spindly, and this is the third rose to open on one shrub, still waiting for the other one to get working!

thanks, Annella. I hadn't known it was a double rose when I bought it - I do prefer roses to be properly rose-shaped. It has no scent that I can detect.
There are five flowers open today, some only just, and about half a dozen buds in various stages - I did try getting a pic, but the plant's so leggy it's hard to get them all in and still be close enough to see what they are.
