Shirley tulips Penstemon..:o)

This looks very similar to the little Penstemon I bought from that fab GC. [its doing very well too;0)

Maybe it's the same variety,Carole..glad it's doing ok..:o)

Don't know how I missed this photo Sandra ... glad to see it's thriving ... was this 'Miniature Bells' variety?

I think it is,Shirley..but I couldn't remember it's name .duh! The flowers do look to be smaller than some Penstemons,don't they? and it seems more compact.I deadheaded the old flower stems,and it's in flower again..:o) Do you think I should overwinter it again this year,as I don't want to lose it..the tiny thing worked so hard to get going:o)

I would definitely overwinter it again Sandra ... even if we're lucky enough to have a mild Winter I think it would appreciate some TLC from you ... :o)

Thanks Shirley,will do..It was fine in the growhouse..I got a thicker cover last year,and a fleece inner lining,so it should be nice and cosy again :o)

Yes I did Sandra ... living way down South I don't really have to protect too many plants ... I guess that variety is a bit tender ... too late now ... :o(
