Lovely water lily flowers. I have a newly bought water lily (supposed to be a red one) and have 6 leaves on the surface of the water and that's it for this year. Wonder if I'll get flowers next year. The little fish like to rest underneath the leaves.

I think mine didn't flower at first either Linda, all my fish have gone now, just newts and frogs:-)

Lovely to have the newts and frogs. Good for the garden too. I can remember as a child have a pair of newts as pets.

I used to have pet toads, the biggest one was Cuthbert:-))
