...Have been pulling out all the blue ones, and also a lot of red poppies from last year's wildflower experiment! I was hoping I would get a white one...and I have!! Bees adore Borage of course, and the flowers are wonderful in Pimms..they have a mild cucumber flavour and just so pretty! Freeze them in ice cube trays for using in the winter months if you like (I never do...Pimms is a summer drink for me!)

Lovely Karen :) Being cheeky, are you likely to have any spare seed?? When our friends came for "Pimm's in the Garden" last Sunday, we had to make do with slices of apple, and mint!

can you please explain me what's pimms?

Pimms is a very English Gin based cocktail Lia....lovely and summery. you buy it in a bottle, then mix it with lemonade and add fruit, cucumber and mint...and if you're really traditional....borage flowers. :)

We only have the blue, and we also eat the leaves, which we boil with cabbage (young leaves only)

Nice tip! Now, we don't eat cabbage often here, but I am definitely going to try this!
