Just to show you how tough these plants are, this was sent to me by a friend in Bulgaria in spent 19 days lost in the post, arrived very yellow and still it survived and went on to produce a flower scape the same year!!!, in its second year now and doing brilliantly :-)

Wow!! I also can give testimony of a tough daylily seedling. It turned yellow and I was doing a test to see if it is dying by pulling the leaves and there I was standing with all the leaves in my hand - after digging it up I saw it was eaten by a mole, there were 0ne root left and it was eaten right into the crown, but I did not want to give up and put the leftover in water - to my amazement it is not only surviving, but it is making new plants contantly while standing in a glass of water!!!

Indestructable aren't they Daglelie, great story :-) , I've found them growing in the compost bin over a year after they've been put in there lol, not that I often compost them!!!!
