Mingle...good word. Don't you love the panicled hydrangeas? A neighbour gave me roots from a "snowball" hydrangea and the heads on the 6 plants I now have planted in different areas of the property are up to 10 inches across! wow...it really took off.

I really do love this hydrangea Lori...so far it is the only hydrangea with flowers this year. I don't know what's up with my others...they look very healthy, but no flowers. :(

I was surprised that my hydrangea has produced blossom so soon after transplant...but they are a hardy plant, so my guess would be that next season yours will be ready to go. I had Annabelle hyd. in my front garden in town and they just kept blooming...wanted to get one of the climbing pannicled beauties for my garden wall here. maybe next year! It's hard to be patient and just let them do their thing, isn't it?

Well, I'll take your advice, and wait for next year.

I have one in the ground that has not flowered this year and think it was just too dry. It was a mass of flower last year with all the rain.
