Bg I have a canopy ( it's actually a glass shower door ) over the tree and wood slats at the sides which helps to stop peach leaf curl confining the tree to the one space ,it works well last year I had 80 peaches ! Thanks Linda :o)

Thanks everyone , I've eaten my first one today it was very sweet and juicy , sorry Bg :o( .. The tree is planted against a 7 ft tall half brick half board fence outside Shirl we have a shower door canopy above it which stops it from getting leaf peach curl and wooden slats down each side about 18 inches wide it looks as if it's contained in it's own mini house , when we have frosts in the winter I pull fleece down over the entire front to protect it ...

It's does well Shirl , I keep it pruned to the size of the frame but would feel much happier to have expert guidance on the pruning I'm a bit secateur happy with it and unsure of what I'm doing :o(

I wouldn't worry, you seem to be doing it right whatever the experts say!! I get a bit secateurs happy with things once I start!!
