Oh yum, I love figs, but can't always get them in just the right condition from the shops.
I would love to have my own tree, but not likely to now!!!
Same comment about my husband Amy!!!
I've only just got him eating blueberries after years of trying!!

My problem is eating them all Shirl if you lived near me you could help me eat them !! ,they are best eaten fresh you can't keep them for too long ,I tried freezing some last year they weren't too bad if you defrosted and put them on cereal but a little soggy on their own , My OH has as sweet tooth I can't convince him it's bad for his cholesterol , at his age he doesn't care :-) Our Blueberries haven't been very good this year I think it's our soil !

When it's bigger and you want plant it outside Hb you need to plant it in something to contain it's roots ,the best thing to do is dig a square hole ,lay a 2ft x 2ft slab at the bottom and then a slab at each side making a square ,you might already know that ,good luck I hope you are rewarded with lots of fruit ;o)

Wow, Amy!
Beautiful crop. I have the same sort, but my figs are still green. Do you grow it in France or in England?
