A rather sickly pot of what I think is Rudbeckia bought at Tesco for £1.50. A good drink and it soon recoverd!

These look lovely and cheerful, though I have trouble getting rudbeckia through the winter in my garden, no idea why!

Derek - it's good to get a bargain isn't it! You would think it would pay them to look after them properly.
Louisa, I don't expect this to make it through winter but at £1.50 I don't mind. I will try though!

Shirley - it's often odd what other people call some plants. I'm kind of luck my mother only admires the garden. She's not usually very good on pronunciation and I'd hate to imagine what she might dream up in the names of plants ;)
