It's still in bloom, but not quite as heavy. Some of my others are in lighter bloom too.

That's terrific! I'll have to come over very soon and see them all.

I hope Randy's plants are still doing well. I got my plant which is dead (from the horrible heat) now from my friend and neighbor RandallSD.

They are great plants and have done well here for me. I have the two named clones as well as many of their seed grown offspring. The 'Augusten' is usually a very heavy bloomer during the summer. I didn't get quite the bloom this year though. I had to cut the plants way back this spring after they received wind damage. I think they spent most of their energy on new growth.
All the ground planted plants did well through the heat. There was some heat damage to some of the potted plants though.

Well, at least your plants have survived. My plant I'm pretty sure is dead. It's still in the pot and has no leaves and I'm still watering it...so maybe it'll come back in December when it finally cools down.

It has been a tough year here for many plants between wind, heat and drought. I may try starting some cuttings if you want to try again.

Yes, I want to try again. I'm really upset with all my plants which have suffered with the heat and drought this year. I think what compounded the whole situation is that summer seemed to have started in the middle of December. We so desperately need rain this coming winter.

Wow! That's gorgeous! Does it still have so many flowers with all the heat we've been having lately?
