Thanks both. As the trees are maturing and forming a denser canopy, the mown paths are disappearing into just bare ground but this section has more light so we still have grass :-)

How nice to escape on a hot sunny day into your very own cool wood ,it's taking shape Dawn I bet the scent of the Pine is wonderful when you walk through !

Thanks Karen. Yes Amy, it is nice under the trees. We have one block of corsican pine and on the ground its a carpet of pine cones and pine needles. The smell is wonderful.

Just beautiful, my OH would love it too, he has always wanted his own wood!!

It is nice to have. Me and Bonnie walk round at about 7am first time. Doesnt take alot of looking after so much now either.
