A small clump forming succulent from South Africa

I have always thought this to be frost tender, needing a minimum winter temperature of 41-45 deg f, but as google is never wrong, I must be, Derek.

Scotsgran and Derek, I have read conflicting information about this plant. Some say it's hardy, others that it's tender.
I don't take any chances, and I always bring it indoors in the winter.

I do like that very much. I just googled it and it is a hardy perennial suitable for rockeries etc. My kind of plant.
