Salvia buchananii

Pretty, is it a hardy one ?

Doesn't it have amazing leaves! So shiny, quite unlike a salvia.

Yes it is hardy Kathy I've taken some cuttings off it I hope they ' take' Lol... the leaves are shiny Karen it's what made me look at it and then buy it also the colour is deeper than it shows on this photo ....

I love Salvias and have several my S. Involucrata is a late flowering one and is just beginning to open up now :o)

Talking of seed Amy, did you mention that you had lost your Dorycnium (Lotus) hirsutum? If so mine is just giving up its seed...............

I lost the parent plant Meani but guess what ! it had seeded it's self there are loads of young plants growing in the area thanks for the kind thought :o) This morning I sent you some seeds from my Billardiera I remembered you saying you like it last year ,you should get them Monday with luck ! I hope they grow I haven't tried them myself yet !!
