Thanks! This plant is so tall and it really need to be put into the ground somewhere. It doesn't bloom as well as it used to...in years past.

Thanks! It doesn't bloom so well, anymore. This tree is in a huge pot and desperately needs to be planted into the ground.

LOL! I know you have the room, I've seen the photos of your large property. Unfortunately, it won't grow outside in your climate. It can only grow in tropical/subtropical climates.

You most likely can grow it like many other parts of the U.S. Many part of the U.S. can't grow plumeria, either.
They plant them out in spring - fall and then dig them out and store them in a closet, attic or garage where it doesn't get below freezing. Plumerias go dormant in winter and don't need water or light during winter.

Here in San Diego, Hawaii, and Florida they can bloom through December or later. Sometimes plumerias don't go semi-dormant until mid-to-late February or later in the tropics.
