All the Bougainvillea here are in full bloom. Of course, they bloom all year, here. The huge mounding ones along the freeways always look so beautiful!

Bougainvillea is most likely one of, if not the most widely grown vine or shrub here in Southern California and other parts of California. Most houses have at least one or more in their yards. There's many dozens of varieties which are grown here in San Diego and California.

We are having an Indian summer this year. Gorgeous weather.

You're having a long summer; not an Indian Summer.

In order to have an Indian Summer you must have a frost first then hot weather again. People here use this expression here in San Diego all the time, and we don't get frost.

It's been hot here. Today it was around 90ºF (32ºC), clear and beautiful. It's suppose to stay warm through next week...then cool down a bit.

I say Indian Summer because we had a week of cool weather....we all thought winter had arrived.
Surprise......gorgeous weather. My mom and dad went swimming today, they said the water was gorgeous.
The weather is going to be like this until the end of the month.

I don't want temps over 30C anymore! I like this mid to high 20's no wind and sunny, perfect!

That sounds like perfect weather. That's pretty much what we've been having here, mostly high 20's; however, this time of year we can get temps well over 32ºC because of the extremely hot, dry Santa Ana Winds.
