Thanks Roy.....not sure if it's scented. It sits under my bottle brush tree that is full of those nasty hornets. I'm afraid to go near there untill all the flowers drop. (soon)

I only bought it this year. I like this shrub too.....I would love a few more colors. Maybe next summer.

So you have a while before it becomes a 7 ft (3m) tall bush. It can spread even wider (if not pruned back).

It's going to have to get pruned back often. I have it under my bottle brush tree. Let's see how well it deals with our winter.

I'm sure it'll grow well for you throughout winter. It's a pretty tough shrub. It won't tolerate a lot of freezing temps, though.

LOL! I just noticed I put that it grow to 3m tall, I meant to say: it grows to 2 - 2.3m tall and 3m wide.

Looks like it's going to be another mild winter. (I hope)

I did so much pruning today on large shrubs.....my arms are killing me.

That's great! A mild winter is good for those tropical plants.

The Almanac says most of the U.S. will be very cold this year. I'm not sure how we will be affected...because last year we had one of the coolest winters in years. We rarely get more than one cooler than normal winter in a decade.

I know the feeling of arm and hand pain when I do lots of pruning. Everything is so overgrown in my front and back yards, I need to do some major pruning soon. :>)
