Flowers today,two weeks on..for Petaltracey..

Wow Sandra havent they done well, went to see Ann and Mike yesterday and Ann had just be given some from her daughter to cheer her up A rough time for them both at the moment!

I think they are the nicest ones i have had for a long time Carole,and I will be sad to see them go :o(.Aw,so sorry to hear about Ann and Mike..I hope the flowers cheered her up :o)x

These are looking really good Bloomer... It just goes to show how long you can keep flowers if you follow the tips for example: Change the water frequently, cut the stems, keep them out of direct sunlight and away from a heat source ie a radiator.
Bloomer - Don't forget to watch those Lily stamens with the pollen - it will stain the furniture if it drops on it... I don't know how to remove Lily pollen from furniture :o( However, if you should brush pass a Lily, and find pollen on your clothes - try to remove it gently using sellotape. If that doesn't work completely, and the garment can be washed - wash in the usual way and dry in the sunshine with the stain showing. I've always found this way to work... ;o)

Thanks for the tip about the pollen ,Petaltracey..the ones you see had just opened up,and were removed after I took the photo,.with scissors not fingers..and all the others as they appeared..:o)
I have had experience of the stains before..not a good look on clothes or hands,is it?! Lol. and the table is a glass topped one..I took no chances ..and thanks for the washing tip too :o)

thank you,Sandra..I was sorry when they finished..but luckily,I had some more lovely flowers given,on the Halloween theme..in Orange tones with black sparkly bits..so different,and just in time for the others finishing..:o)

lucky you...i have a couple of roses i picked today..i just love the smell..:-)
