This is nearly 8 ft tall, and has huge bamboo like canes, was so chuffed to see it flowering in the rain this morning....

Congratulations! They love cooler fall weather weather. I've seen giant ones in San Cruz, in Central California and the San Francisco Bay Area. They're evergreen there.

Annella it can be lifted or left and then mulched, t must have an enormous root ball, and has only been planted about 4 months!!
Del if we have a mild winter, it might stay evergreen..who knows?
