Acer Butterfly....

I bought this last year from Morrison's. It didn't make it through winter, a shame as it was a good sized one too!

I bought nearly the same but bigger one called "Shirazz" 3 years ago also from Morrison's and it died exactly a year later! What a shame!! Hope yours will do well for you.

That's a shame, seedling ones are definitely more difficult than grafted ones, probably because the roots are already well established when the graft is carried out. If I lift a seedling one from the garden only a small percentage survive the first winter.

Very sweet leaves on this.

You have me worried now, bought this from Morrison's, so will have to keep an eye on it....

It will probably be ok but maybe just a little tlc over it's first winter
