The gazania and the moss roses where a little spare for the blocks, I'm trying calibrachoa next year, but still effective in the sun. The dark north side of the house is a great backdrop for something bright and frankly, more full.

Thank you TT! I could almost call them parapets, there just isn't a wall. :-)

Greetings Greenthumb, it's been quite a while since I was on this site. Yours was the first site I wanted to catch up on, you always have such interesting flowers and projects. Neat idea, the blocks and if you can give it some time those Gazanias will be taking over and having a block party!! At least that's how they grow, and grow and grow here!! lol

I love them, but they only survive three months of the years here. :-) Thank you so much GG! And welcome back! I don't come on as much but I try keeping the garden updated. :-) Still no better place! I keep trying to get my mother in southern Utah to plant gazanias so she can just let them go, but she hasn't done so yet. :-)
