I like moomins bring them back , Clangers are back next year ,, impressive plant Hywel, are they all the babies off the main plant ??

Yes, and you can see the parent plant in the next photo. It's about 30 years old.

Trying to think what I have had for years as in the actual plant and not just me spiting them and the old part getting thrown away etc has to be my two acers must be around 25 26 years.

Your acers must be quite a size now. They are lovely trees. I suppose they can live a very long time.

No not that large as they have been in the same pot for 24 years and I only properly re- potted this year , I suppose I have bonsai them .

I had one in a pot for many years, and it remained small. Then planted it in the ground and it grew to about 8 feet so I chopped it down. It is re-growing now but I keep cutting it back.
