They're lovely flowers to have in the winter ... cheer the place up no end.
Mine have hardly any buds this year LOL ...

Mines the same Hywel.... had a few flowers couple of weeks ago, but they've gone and not a lot of buds to re flower :-(((((((

Don't think it will, looking very sorry for itself.Can't understand it, it was a mass of flowers last year:-((

I had one years ago that done the same thing, ..... maybe overwatered... as I tend to give to much water... so being careful with these...

.I think overwatering is the main problem with these..Stop watering from September onwards..and then water when you see the buds appearing,or when you want it to start flowering..mine was only watered once,and has been lovely this year..don't move it once it has started flowering,as this can cause bud drop .
If you google Schlumbergera,or Christmas Cactus,and look at an article by mattslandscape.com..it gives all the info you need on there..I have it bookmarked,so I can refer to it..sorry,I don't know how to add the link..also I had excellent advice from Steragram..:o)

Thanks for the advice sandra, ive had them before that have dropped buds... so wont water these to much.. the flowers are out now...
