Junipers look great right after a snow storm.

Yes, they really look great. What you can't see from the picture is that they are covered with little blue berries. The birds nosh on them all winter.

Juniper berries !
I remember as a very young nurse , helping a patient with a bed-pan , and finding the contents bright green !
I was in near panic , when I was told that it was the effect of said patient having taken Juniper berries . ( I'm not sure what for .)

humm interesting! I know they are commonly used in all kinds of cuisine especailly game...and of course for making Gin.
