Winter Garden - Whiteswood Cottage Garden

It looks great - a lot tidier than mine, I have to admit!

Still got three smaller borders to tidy at the top of the garden, (you cannot see them on this picture) told you before I only take pictures when I am tidy. lol. Been out again, working my way around to them today. The wind and the blackbirds have been throwing the leaf debris all over the paths and I have been trying to sweep the grass pathways to stop them ruining what little bit of grass is left in the garden. More to do tomorrow. :O) Supposedly a nice day so should get lots done. Fingers are crossed. :O)

Nice burner, parasol to keep off the rain, cuppa hot chocolate and feet up for half an hour...lovely stuff!

only half an hour, you workaholic/slave driver Mouldy. lol. just had my break and my large real coffee. lol now to get some more gardening done. well after answering all my messages.

Jent I know exactly what you mean, I am 70 this year and most definitely slowing down, although still very enthusiastic, when the sun shines. We have had some lovely days this last week, sunshine and sharp but not too cold to get out there. I have learned that little and often is what it is all about, take it in small pieces, which sometimes I try and forget. I have to make myself give up and go in and sit down. I found that if I put my coffee machine on I can smell the coffee and that draws me inside. lol. Hope you are soon able to get out and enjoy your garden even in small doses. lol :O) All the best and thank you for looking in. :O)

oh dear Jent I hope it is all dried up soon, we are not as bad as that. Just a small amount of rain but quite windy at times. Today was a cold start with some very watery sunshine later on and clouds after tea, still fine so no more wet today. The garden is drying out and no water stood here now. Hope your garden is soon dry again, think the bulbs will be ok mine are shooting away merrily. Snowdrops are well up and daffs are too no sign of crocus yet though. Still very early for things to be up and showing, hope we do not get any snow to slow things up.
