We have lots of beavers in Canada. They used to be hunted for fur. I have seen many beaver dams and ponds and beaver tree "damage" out in the country. .They are amazing builders and hard workers.
Beaver is our national animal (in Canada) and is depicted on our 5 cent piece.

That´s interesting, Klahanie. Thank you. Now I am not sure, if it was Canada or the UK, where beaver has been sentenced to almost exstinction, because members of Parliament must have had beavers fur hats on their heads...lol.
