Who does live in this White House?

This is a pretty house with cute fences, but for myself I would not like to live near the river...

Would you wish to have a home by the river ?

I live in the house at the river. But our house was built long time ago as river restaurant, so it has special ferroconcrete basal part. We have never had floods since building of a large dam system on the Danube, so no problem at all.

That's reassuring that your home is not susceptible to flooding ...
lately on British TV news, there have been many reports and films of homes in towns and villages ... deep in water ..

Oh yes, I know. We used to have floods in fifties, then there were large dams built and waters in rivers regulated, since that time we do not have floods, only people in mountain rocky valley areas, when there are showers, as the underground doesn t soak, so they suffer from time to time by what we call "hundred year waters".
