Thanks Amy ... the Pyracantha has grown really well from a cutting taken from Mums garden ... and the Ivy was a tiny one in a gift basket a few years ago ... isn't Nature clever ... :o)

Shirley... this may sound a daft question, but have you got a photo of your bins without fence, and pretty covering.I have a problem with my wheeli bins and would like to see them covered, like yours.... I take it they are wheeli bins??

Gralew ... I shall post a pic of the fenced off bin area as soon as I find it! Found it and posted photo ... this was in March 2010 with some heavy snow ... :o(

I like the Pyracantha ..is it 'Orange Glow'? It looks similar to the one I bought at our last house..I have red,and yellow berried ones,,also paired with Ivy..same variety I think, and also from a gift basket ,a long time ago ..How coincidental..great minds eh? :o)

It could be Sandra ... then again my Mum never kept the label ... this is a cutting from hers.
How strange about the Ivy! ... :o)
