Are they difficult to grow from seed, Shirley ?

That's lovely Shirley and yes well done for growing it from seed , Brian is a treasure when it comes to sharing so very kind ! I'm finding new baby plants almost everywhere in my garden even in between bricks i'm told the ants transport the seed , lovely free plants !

Lovely cyclamen. There are some lovely varieties around to buy for inside the home as well. Good that you have grown this from seed. I had a go a couple of years ago and you have to be patient while they develop but a few have survived outside and are flowering at the moment.

I bought a tray of them for a pound each in the sales and planted them under some of the shrubs in my garden. I love them, and they always do so well...very reliable and quite beautiful up close. :)

Thanks all ... I believe they can take quite a while from seed ... just don't give up on them!

I put them at the base of a Cordyline as it always seemed to be dry ... what a joke this year with all the rain ... continually damp ... :o(
