I am entertained how things are done here. This is not a throw away society as we are in North America (mainly USA) these people can fix everything and sometimes very inovative way. They do not have welfare and social programs to help them to survive (they do not pay any taxes either) so they have to be creative....and they are.
So I can only speculate why the bricks in the window.
