Hi Suey 187, Woo, is that your garden, it's hugh. not like my little tiny bit in the front of the house, but we still lovr doing the pots etc. :0)

It is sue,when my mum passed away I moved in.It is a beautiful place.I miss my old garden which was small.Not sure where to start on this one.

Wonderful light on the garden! I lived in Stoke and worked in Penkhull for some years and don't remember seeing any gardens that size!

What a vista...Nothing better than a backdrop of good trees. You are so lucky, to have this. It takes a lifetime to grow this lovely spot. And I think the pic is beautiful.

Thanks Steragram,Well actually I am in the Staffordshire moorlands,but always think of myself as a stokie.I know Penkhull well.The garden as beautiful mature trees but is a wetland,which makes gardening quite a nightmare.

Thank you Wells,every time I look at them I think how lucky I am.We have planted some more trees,we won't be here when they are as mature as the ones in the photo.Something for future generations to admire.:0)

A lovely place to live as long as you aren't too high up. I used to go home from Stoke to Sheffield over the Buxton road on a 49cc moped in my misspent youth! Must have been mad. OH comes from Leek.
On a wetland you can grow all the things most of us can't, without making a bog area, so its not all bad! Your trees are fantastic.

Thanks Steragram,that Buxton Road is horrid.I'm in Endon,so not high up at all.The wet in the garden is totally mind boggling to me.Will get there in the end.:0)

The Buxton road is only horrid in bad weather though - lovely on a nice day.I used to go Scottish dancing at Endon!

Yes. That would be some time between 1996 and 1999. In the summer we sometimes went to a rather grand house outside Leek where they had a large room and two huge Newfoundland dogs. You're not telling me you went to that club??

Nicely placed for walking up at Longsdon then - used to enjoy that country park when we loved up at Norton. You're right, its a small world.
