Irises from last summer

These are so pretty Lori. I love the colors. I started a love affair with Irises last fall and planted over fifteen varieties and from the looks of my yard at this date, I'm really going to have quite a few blooming soon. I just hope they are as lovely as these.

I love the yellow and purple...have some siberians called Butter and Sugar...so pretty. They are yellow and white. Fifteen varieties!? your garden has expanded? Same here. I have so much room that I have to divide it into sub-gardens! I've been pecking away at it for three summers and still have much more to do. also enjoying learning about the wild things...We have deer, wild turkeys, bear, fox, and pigs ..(neighbour's livestock) plus a whole hillside of wildflowers and oak, spruce, maple and birch trees, a million squirrels and bluejays. If the weather moderates soon I will be tapping maple trees.

I'd never been a big fan of irises, only ever seen the pruple ones, but these are lovely, and will check out what other colour options are available!
