If you look at the rare plants website and can say that is it SRGC had seeds, whether there are any left I'm not sure. I can check it out at the Kincardine show in March. I have posted a photo of it on the srgc forum blog about Dunblane. I can ask more about it there if you like.

Will anybody be selling it at the moment Bjs maybe need to wait until the autumn when the spring flower catalogues come out.

They will be for Autumn delivery however they start taking orders in the spring some of the things have quite limited availability. Pottertons have already sent me there autumn catalog there are about 20 Colchicum but don't have the one I want.
Other thing is if the grower has a crop failure you don't get the item even though they have taken an order.

Back to the drawing board then Bjs. If I find out where you can get one I will get back to you. Might be as well to try and get some seeds just in case its three years before they are available. Do let us know if you are successful in ordering any. It has been a weekend of disasters. Computer now on the blink.

I have tried hand pollinating them, and the bulbs when they finish flowering I will feed and see if they will bulk up before they have there summer sleep.
