Wow, are they early or is it the norm for them to flower so early in warmer climes. ;-)

Thanks MB.....Dawn this is about the usual time for these to flower, they are early flowering varieties....

Beautiful! I brought two here with me, a pink and a white one. The pink one has lots of buds. The white one doesn't seem to have many at all, but it will have more next year. I also inherited one, which I've moved to a shadier spot, so hopefully it will do better in future years. It had been planted right in the morning sunshine and is still looking quite yellow. I need to give it a feed with something....sequestrate I think.

Thanks K..I do love our camellias, over ten years old now, so well established... Thanks 3d....
BjS they have to take pot luck with the frost, the top will succumb but the bottom will be fine....

Well, the frost here this morning has flattened most of my snowdrops! I hope it has been kinder to your Camellias!

We are expecting a frost overnight K....so we will see, they have never been protected, the very top blooms no doubt will go brown, but the rest will be OK......

No, I don't protect things either....it's just too much work for me. They take their chances.
