like the idea of a glass container.

I thought I'd experiment, I'd read they like to have roots to the light, very often you buy them in a see through pot.

That is a good idea, such great value plants aren't they my daughter was bought one for her birthday 15th November and it looked good till yesterday when I eventually cut the flower spike off, much better than a bunch of flowers :-)
