We have 4 of them around. I feed them banana peels. Seems like they like them.

Interesting to see your different type of squirrel. If you choose to feed them they are obviously not a pest in the garden.

Oh sometimes I do chase them as they can be little aggressive, But generally I do accept them and sometimes their behaviour makes me smile. The "grays" we have on Vancouver Island are very destructive.

Oh yes, natural sauna....by the way, Noris does the same on balcony. And although it is cold/fresh outside, when I touch him, his fur coat is always very warm. Maybe, that animals absorb much more sun energy by their fur, then we are able to explain.

I can see the street dogs here doing the same thing. Unfortunately they lay and sleep on the sidewalks so one has to step over them :=)
Your Noris has a black coat so he absorbs the heat very well.
