Was given this as a goodbye present from my befriender, Hira. Found it while unpacking, planted them on Feb 23rd, by March 9th they were ready to come out of the "cool dark" place (kitchen cupboard) where they were supposed to stay for 8-12 weeks, or until shoots were 5cm tall.

Very pretty when they bloom Fran. Mine are resting after blooming recently. I planted last years in the spent bulb patch but have seen nothing of them so far this year. The hyacinths have come on well after blooming in pots.

I grew some of these this year, Fran, they are so pretty. I just stuck mine in a pot and they stayed outside all the time - mine didn't come with instructions!
