A really lovely village built for the workers in Lord Lever's Soap Factory.

They were built for the factory workers?
a bit like Bournville?
they certainly beat the close packed terraces!

The village and houses look as attractive as the name, Neellan. The workers must have thought they were in heaven.

Found it Neena, it was a lovely day out for anyone, the carpet bedding was lovely, the darkest blue hyacinths and primroses, the scent unbelievably strong.....the memorial to Hillsborough was touching and there it was red primroses and white hyacinth, I guess alway red and white
