the bulbs I planted about a week ago have started to come through - wonder what they are? no sign of Blue Garden yet

they were sprouting in the box, so I had to plant them to give them a chance, though going in three-five months late means they won't have had a chance to build up energy.
the ground is a bit dry, no rain for about a week, and the box said to "keep ground moist", so that would slow them down even more. Get my water butts connected tomrorrow - won't say I'm hoping for rain, but ... shee, I could have filled a dozen butts with the storms

A bit of rain the other day Fran, none here in Essex for about 3 weeks. The butts are on their way down now. Hope you get your butts connected OK.

I thought he was coming yesterday, but when I checked his non-arrial I found out that it's next Tues. sigh. still got some rain water left in the dustbin behind the shed, so I've got a bit of "rea" water to keep me going till then - I hope! (and that's only if it rains soon after they're installed - late at night, just enough to start filling them)

That's encouraging, Fran. The sunshine would have helped. I think you might have to be a bit more patient before the seeds emerge :)
