Limestone cliff

I love all the steep limestone cliffs on Mackinac Island and the Upper Peninsula. It's amazing that trees can grow so well on them but most of them are covered with arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis)
oh, that's dramatic! makes one wonder how the trees on the edge manage to cling on!
