I've put a massive order in at Whetman pinks, going to have all sorts and colours as long as they flower like mad all summer and longer and have a fantastic perfume. I already have a lot of d.Memories from Whetmans which I bought a few years ago, which is the most fantastic white double, it flowers most of the year and the scent is amazing ... it's also sturdy and compact. I sound like an agent ....I think pinks are becoming a new passion:-))

They are a bit of a passion with me too Ba... will check out Whetmans!

Encouraged by Ba, I bought quite a few from Whetmans last year Gralew . . . Ba should get a discount with them!

31 Mar, 2014

Will you write and tell them Sheila?:-)

31 Mar, 2014

Gralew their lovely plants are only £1.75 each, far cheaper that Allwoods. Having said all that, I've spent £78 with Whetmans this year. What else can you do when you can't walk:-)))

You're having a tough time, Ba . . . hope you'll be more mobile again soon. :)

31 Mar, 2014

I'm quite mobile now Sheila, hope to be gardening properly soon and my limp should go in a week or so:-)

31 Mar, 2014

That's good news Ba . . . please don't have any more accidents:)

1 Apr, 2014

I am rather prone to them Sheila, but all don't involve pain:-))

I bought Mum a pack of six of these Dianthus for Mothering Sunday - they'll last longer than a box of chocs or a bouquet! Off to plant them for her later today .....

How lovely, that's the sort of gift we all appreciate Shirley :-)

Yes indeed Ba ... got them planted now and Mum loves the colour so happiness all round!
