An afternoon visitor.....

Looks like a female pheasant, we've got a male that visits every day if you want a pair ;-)

Yes I agree with Sinbad it does looks like the female pheasant, we had a male last year they are much brighter colored and more flamboyant too, perhaphs yours was on the look out for a partner;0)
