Parrot Tulip

Parrot Tulip (Tulip)

This is the last piccie... I like the shape of the flower. They were a good buy at £1.80 a bunch, so I treated myself to 2 bunches! They've lasted a week indoors without dropping and I've now put them into the Conservatory (it's unheated) on the shadey side. I don't do anything special with them - just cut the stems with a slanted cut and place them in shallow water. They don't need to be in a vase full of water :o) (But you do need to check the water level daily)

Hi TT Yes they are aren't they? I just love the frilly edges of the petals on Parrot Tulips. Great as cut flowers, these are still in the conservatory, a lot darker in colour but they haven't dropped a petal yet, and I've had them 10 days now!!!
