Thank you both so much. It is such a pleasure to sit by the window and lookout for hours....I get to see the plants close up, and really appreciate them, can't wait for the roses to start climbing on the walls and fence....

I know just what you mean. I have R. 'Bridge of Sighs' in a pot against the house wall, and I sat gazing at the beautiful bronzy new shoots yesterday, just willing it to get going! :)

That is such a huge improvement you deserve to have a lovely long rest it looks amazing. :O)

Thank yousss....I just can't believe it myself after putting up with concrete for nine years. So many people are talking about this garden, most of the people over here look after their gardens, somehow everyone are talking about the transformation of the house and garden, remember the house used to be red bricks, now it is all covered in this external wall insulation stuff, with a cream finish and the planting compliment it a lot.

Thats a lovely feeling isn't it M? I don't have many neighbours, but one of them is so lovely, and he said to me the other day that our house and garden is 'a different place' from what it was when the last owner was here! I was so chuffed...such a lovely thing to say! You have done brilliant things to yours, and people will be amazed at what you have achieved on your own. :)))
