Didn't dream it would flower this year after being divided, but it has.

Milky, that's great! Has it been flowering all winter long?
My plant in the front yard is winding down from it's heavy fall and winter flowering.

Meanie:
Most likely your plant needs a lot more sun and light.

Meanie.....are you feeding it Mine gets Tomato Feed, and its only shot up a flower spike since we started getting some sunshine.............Delonix...I wasn't expecting a bloom at all as I divided it last year, so its a bonus.

I guess because it's in a pot it will need to be fed. My plant is in the ground and never receives any feeding. It's a very old plant, though...most likely 30 or possibly 40 years old.
Very small plants here from the nursery tend to bloom during the first year in the ground.
