hi, Pansypotter..no,i moved in a terrible rush..did get the arbour, tho'..my eldest son,David managed to take the arbour away without damaging the roses...sold my house in half an hour! it was quite a shock...had to leave most of my plants...but never you mind, this little garden is going to be just fine...last year i had one tiny blossom on my one lone plant..a forsythia..this year, all three forsythias are blooming, and two dozen daffodils are ready to pop...AND my cedar hedge came through this deadfall winter just fine..i was so worried about it....

Its good to hear you have another little garden to take cvare of, they bring so much pleasure to each day ,dont they;0))

Honestly, i don't know how i would have survived without my gardens...my late husband had dementia for many years...he thought i was trying to poison him with his heart medication, became abusive and dangerous, but i couldn't get him into a nursing home for the longest time...the situation here is dreadful...he was 80 yrs old when he left home, died 8 months later...my gardens gave me hope and comfort on the darkest days..thank goodness for them!...
