Ok I will post a picture for you, but after saying that it does come and go in dribs and drabs. The plants keep flowering on at different times, but think the end of June/beg. of July is the best time for this border, well think in general that is the best time for the whole of the garden really. :O)

Certainly a true cottage garden....

Well it would be apart from I grow the veggies in a different spot, supposedly not a true cottage garden unless the veggies are in between the flowers. But that would just not look right for me. I like my flowers in my borders and my veggies in the veggie garden. lol. :O) Thanks dd for looking in.

if you planted some chives under your roses, they would help keep the aphids away, and then you really would have a true cottage garden! ;)

I agree with you on that, no veg in the flower borders....
